Some Outcomes features in Canvas https://canvas.pitt.edu/, the University of Pittsburgh's enterprise Learning Management System, will be unavailable Thursday, Nov. 5, from 1-4 a.m. while Instructure, the Canvas vendor, upgrades its database. Users do not need to take any action.
Unavailable during this window: • Learning Mastery Gradebook data • New Quizzes outcome alignments (viewing and creating) • New Quizzes Outcome Analysis reports • Outcome Results Admin reports
All other Canvas features are expected to remain available.
The upgrade supports the security, stability, and long-term performance of Canvas. Instructure scheduled this work and will perform the maintenance. Pitt Digital will monitor the process and, in the event of any significant changes or delays, will post updates to https://status.pitt.edu.
