Scheduled

Pitt Digital is adding two overnight network maintenance windows this week, at Bellefield Hall and Biomedical Science Tower 3. Combined with the previously announced maintenance at Benedum Hall, PittNet Wi-Fi and wired service will be intermittently interrupted across three buildings on consecutive nights:

• Bellefield Hall: Tuesday, July 14, at 7 p.m. through 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15
• Benedum Hall: Wednesday, July 15, at 7 p.m. through 7 a.m. on Thursday, July 16
• Biomedical Science Tower 3: Thursday, July 16, at 7 p.m. through 7 a.m. on Friday, July 17

During these maintenance windows, users may experience one or more rolling outages — typically for one to two hours — per floor during this window. The team will monitor progress and post updates to https://status.pitt.edu if significant changes or delays occur.

This work is part of Pitt Digital's network modernization initiative to install nearly 4,000 new Wi-Fi access points and upgrade wired network connections across the Pittsburgh campus. Learn more at https://digital.pitt.edu/wifi.
