Pitt Digital will be performing a required Microsoft Azure update this Thursday, Sept. 11, from 10-10:30 p.m. During the maintenance period, connectivity to and from campus to Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Compute Services, Azure Data Storage, and Computing Labs/Virtual Labs, may be temporarily interrupted for up to five minutes during the maintenance window.

Pitt Digital will be monitoring the process, and in the event of any significant changes or delays, updates will be posted to http://status.pitt.edu. This required vendor maintenance is part of our overall efforts to ensure continued security, stability, and reliability of the University network and services.

Please submit a ticket to the Technology Help Desk at https://pi.tt/helprequest or call +1-412-624-HELP (4357) if you experience any issues accessing any Microsoft Azure services after the maintenance is complete. This effort is being led by Dan Mahaven, Pitt IT Operations.
