The Pitt Worx system will be unavailable from Friday, June 20, at 10 p.m. until Sunday, June 22, at 10 p.m. ET. This maintenance will provide Pitt Worx the latest routine updates as well as an update to the interface for the Time and Absences module.

The maintenance period was scheduled by Pitt IT in consultation with Office of Human Resources. During the outage, users will be unable to access Pitt Worx. Those who need to submit timecards for the week of June 15-21 should do so before or after the outage period; timecards cannot be submitted or approved during the system outage. As a reminder, timecards must be submitted and approved by noon on Monday, June 23.

Important Feature Update Notice for Timecard Users/Approvers:

• When this Pitt Worx update is complete, users accessing the Time and Absences module will notice minor changes to the look and feel of the application. These are a result of updates to the system’s User Interface that will not significantly change functionality but should result in an improved user experience.

• Beginning June 23, employees and supervisors accessing the timecard system will use the updated interface to complete their regular tasks. For highlights of the changes and more guidance, please visit the OHR website at https://www.hr.pitt.edu/news/improvements-time-and-absence-reporting-pitt-worx.

• Updated Time and Labor Reference Guides outlining the changes are now available through Pitt Passport at https://pitt.sharepoint.com/sites/human-resources/Pitt-Worx/Time%20and%20Labor/Time%20and%20Labor%20Reference%20Guides.aspx.
