Please be aware that access to financial data in the University Data Warehouse will be impacted by the extended upgrade for PRISM scheduled from 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, through noon on Monday, Dec. 12. The Student Mart and the Employee Mart should not be impacted.

The upgrade will impact applications that utilize data from the University Data Warehouse, including Cognos, Fiscal Panther, and Tableau:

• Beginning Thursday, Dec. 8, the daily General Ledger (GL) Transaction data refresh will be paused.
• During the refresh pause, you will still be able to access and use financial data from the Dec. 8 data refresh.
• We expect that updated financial transactions will be available again by Friday, Dec. 16. Users will be notified when the daily GL data refresh resumes.

The PRISM upgrade is a collaboration between Pitt Information Technology and the Office of the CFO to deliver an upgraded, vendor-hosted version of the Oracle E-Business Suite that PRISM is built on for improved operational efficiency.
