Overnight Network Maintenance Impacts Multiple Locations Overnight Sept. 16-17

PittNet Wi-Fi and wired network service will be impacted overnight from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16 until 7 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17:

• Carrillo Steam Plant
• Energy Innovation Center
• Thaw Hall
• Melwood Maintenance Building (480 Mellwood St.)
• Space Research Coordination Center (SRCC)
• Strand Building (3609 Forbes Ave.)
• Towerview Garage

During these windows, users may experience one or more rolling outages per floor, typically lasting one to two hours. The team will monitor progress and post updates here if significant changes or delays occur.

This work is part of Pitt Digital's network modernization initiative that will install nearly 4,000 new Wi-Fi access points and upgrade wired network connections across the Pittsburgh campus. Learn more at https://digital.pitt.edu/wifi.
