On Monday, April 7, from 6 to 11 p.m., Perceptive Content (ImageNow), the University's document management system, will be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. Pitt Information Technology will be addressing a security vulnerability that targets the Apache servers supporting the system.
This maintenance is necessary to ensure our University systems and servers are secure. There will be no changes to the user interface and no additional action required by users.
Pitt IT prioritizes security issues when scheduling maintenance to take place as soon as possible instead of during the normal weekend maintenance period. To minimize disruption, this maintenance will occur after the close of normal business hours.
Pitt IT has completed checks to ensure that the system is ready for the update and will be actively engaged throughout the maintenance period. In the unlikely event that an issue or problem arises, the system will revert to its original configuration and Pitt IT will send an email notification as well as post an update to http://status.pitt.edu.
Please contact the 24/7 IT Help Desk at +1-412-624-HELP (4357) if you experience any issues or have questions regarding this maintenance. This effort is being led by Jamie Craig, Pitt IT Enterprise Applications.
