Pitt Digital will perform two follow-up overnight network maintenances this week. The buildings listed below will experience a brief outage to the PittNet Wi-Fi and wired networks during the maintenance periods:
• Thursday, Oct. 2, from 10 p.m. until Friday, Oct. 3, at 2 a.m., affecting the following locations:
Crabtree Hall Darragh Residence Hall Lothrop Hall Parran Hall Petersen Events Center Salk Hall UPMC Presbyterian Victoria Building
• And Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 p.m. until Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2.a.m., affecting the following locations:
Scaife Hall
Network connectivity to cloud providers, websites, or other internet resources from campus or the datacenter, or accessing campus resources remotely from GlobalProtect or other external services may be affected in these locations.
Pitt IT will be monitoring the process, and in the event of any significant changes or delays, updates will be posted to https://status.pitt.edu/. This maintenance is part of our efforts to ensure continued security, stability, and reliability of the network.
