Find People (find.pitt.edu) can once again be accessed outside of PittNet. Please note that after ten searches from outside the University's network, you will be required to wait ten minutes to complete another search.

Pitt Information Technology has implemented a temporary security measure that requires a connection to PittNet to access Find People (find.pitt.edu). Students, faculty, and staff can access Find People by connecting to PittNet Wi-Fi or PittNet wired when on campus, or by using PittNet VPN (GlobalProtect) or PittNet VPN (Ivanti/Pulse Secure) when off campus or in an area without PittNet.
Pitt IT implemented this temporary measure on Saturday, Mar. 12, to mitigate repeated attacks on the University’s network. Pitt IT will share additional updates soon.
