Pitt Information Technology has scheduled emergency network maintenance tonight that will interrupt access to PittNet Wi-Fi and Wired networks for administrative systems in the following residence halls on the Pittsburgh campus from midnight to 2 a.m.:

• Amos Hall
• Brackenridge Hall
• Bruce Hall
• Holland Hall
• Litchfield Towers
• William Pitt Union

The following services will be impacted in affected buildings:

• Card swipe reader connectivity will be unavailable
• Microsoft Teams phones will be unable to place or receive calls
• Students will be unable to use Panther Funds at laundry facilities

Residence Hall Wi-Fi (MyResNet) is not affected and will remain available in residential areas during the maintenance period.

PittNet Wi-Fi and Wired service will be restored earlier in affected buildings if work is completed ahead of schedule. This maintenance is necessary to maintain the stability and reliability of the University’s network.
