Cognos will be unavailable during extended maintenance from 5 p.m. on Friday, June 24, until 8 a.m. on Monday, June 27. You will not be able to access the Cognos web interface or reporting functionality while maintenance is in progress, and jobs scheduled to run during the maintenance period will not be completed.

This maintenance is necessary to upgrade the system and resolve a recurring issue documented on the IT Service Dashboard (status.pitt.edu).

Pitt Information Technology previously announced that support for Cognos was temporarily shifting to standard business hours to focus time on planning the upgrade. After the upgrade is complete and monitoring confirms that the issue has been resolved, Cognos support will return to 24-hour availability and an update will be posted to the status.pitt.edu.
