Scheduled
PittNet VPN (Pulse Secure) will be unavailable during an extended maintenance period from 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, through 5 a.m. on Sunday, March 22. This is a proactive step to increase capacity and ensure business continuity in the current remote work environment.

Users will be unable to connect until maintenance is complete and any connections in progress will be halted when maintenance begins. If work is completed ahead of schedule, the system will be returned to service earlier and an update will be posted to status.pitt.edu.

As a reminder, most University resources can be accessed remotely without PittNet VPN. Refer to guidelines at https://www.technology.pitt.edu/blog/vpnremote on when PittNet VPN is and is not needed to access University resources.

Pitt IT regrets any inconvenience and appreciates your understanding as we make system improvements. Please contact the 24/7 Help Desk at 412-624-HELP (4357) if you have any questions regarding this announcement.
