Zoom Videoconferencing will be unavailable for up to three hours during scheduled maintenance from 11 p.m. on Saturday, Jan 29, through 7 a.m. on Sunday, Jan 30.

Pitt IT recommends that anyone hosting a Zoom meeting during the maintenance window reschedule using Microsoft Teams or another videoconferencing service and inform all participants.

This maintenance is necessary because Zoom is updating the security certificate that is used with Pitt Passport, the University’s single sign-on service. Although maintenance may last up to three hours, Zoom will be returned to service earlier if work is completed ahead of schedule.
