A network service interruption that occurred during Pitt IT’s scheduled maintenance period on Sunday, Oct. 25, affected connectivity to University services from PittNet and the internet. The interruption occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 1:15 a.m. and lasted approximately 20 minutes.

Pitt IT is investigating the issue and will post additional details to status.pitt.edu as they become available. In the meantime, departmental IT staff are advised to monitor their network services and report any issues to the 24/7 IT Help Desk at 412-624-HELP (4357).
